Panther was founded by David T. Diaz and Joshua Grim, two investors who share a common goal — to make institutional-quality real estate performance accessible to private investors.

David spent more than a decade building and operating large-scale single-family rental (SFR) platforms for Cerberus (FirstKey Homes) and Starwood (Waypoint Homes) and 1Sharpe (Brick & Vine), delivering or managing over 36,000 homes nationwide. His leadership helped establish the operational standards, renovation models, and scalability benchmarks that now define the SFR industry.

Joshua began his career on Wall Street, learning the financial structures that drive institutional investment. In 2009, he redirected that experience toward building a personal rental portfolio — turning $400,000 into more than $25 million in rental assets. His journey reflects Panther’s founding philosophy: disciplined growth, transparent performance, and direct investor alignment.

Together, they created Panther to close the gap between private investors and institutional processes. By integrating construction, management, sales and development under one aligned platform, Panther eliminates inefficiencies and delivers repeatable, data-driven returns.
